Who we are
Cloudy Softwares Inc. runs the Cloudy website, CLI, and cloud experiments. This policy explains what we collect when you use them, why, and who helps us process it.
What we collect
Account details: your email address, display name, organizations, and roles. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or with Google, which shares your name and email.
Your work: messages, plans, uploaded files, code, commands, and the results, logs, and files your experiments produce.
Usage and billing: the compute, model tokens, web searches, and storage each chat uses, and your credit purchases. Stripe collects your card and billing address; we never see or store card numbers.
Connected accounts: if you connect Claude Code or Codex, we store its sign-in encrypted and use it only to run your team's research.
Technical data: IP addresses and request details, used for security and rate limits. We use PostHog for product analytics: page views, clicks, errors, and session recordings with typed text masked and the terminal left out. Cloudy has no advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use this information to run your experiments, show your team its work and usage, charge for usage, send sign-in codes and team invitations, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information or use your work to train models.
Who processes it
We use these providers to operate Cloudy: Supabase (database and sign-in), Modal (compute), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Railway (hosting), Stripe (payments and tax), Resend (email), PostHog (product analytics), and Google (if you sign in with Google). When research runs on Cloudy credits, your prompts and the files the model reads go to the model provider through OpenRouter, and web searches go to OpenRouter's search provider. With a connected account, model requests go to that account's provider under its terms.
Retention and your choices
Your work stays until you delete it. Deleting a chat removes its workspace once its compute has stopped. We keep billing records as long as accounting and tax law require.
