Using Cloudy

Cloudy Softwares Inc. provides the Cloudy website, CLI, and tools for planning and running experiments on managed compute. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Cloudy for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization.

Your account and work

Keep your account credentials secure and only invite people you trust into your organization. You are responsible for the work you submit and must have permission to use any code, data, or other material you upload.

You retain any ownership rights you have in your uploads and results. You give Cloudy permission to store, process, and display that material as needed to operate the service for your organization, including through compute, storage, and model providers.

Experiments and results

Cloudy can execute code, install dependencies, use remote compute, and attempt changes to complete your instructions. Review the work and verify results before relying on them. An experiment may fail, produce incorrect output, or show no improvement.

Closing a tab does not stop a cloud run. Use the pause control to stop research. Keep your own copies of important files; unsaved work can be lost if a run stops or the service is interrupted.

Credits and usage

Cloudy usage is paid for with prepaid credits. Organization owners buy credits in US dollars through Stripe; each purchase adds a platform fee and any applicable tax, shown before you pay. Credits belong to the organization, are shared by its members, and can only be spent on Cloudy usage. They cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. The pricing page explains how compute, model, search, and storage usage are measured against them.

Setup, idle compute, failed attempts, and retries count toward usage. Balances never go below zero: below $1, Cloudy turns off your team's running chats and starts no new ones until credits are added. Usage still settling after that is not charged.

If a payment is refunded or disputed, we may remove the credits it bought and pause the organization's purchases and research until it is resolved. For billing questions or refund requests, contact hi@cloudy.so.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cloudy for unlawful activity, attacks on systems you do not have permission to test, malware distribution, or infringement of others' rights. Do not bypass access controls or interfere with the service. We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, a security threat, or a breach of these terms.

Availability and contact

Service interruptions and compute failures can occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular experiment outcome. These terms do not limit rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
